Terms

Who you are dealing with

ClaimMath is operated by Brandon Sorensen, who is the contracting party for a purchase. Written questions, including anything about these terms, go to claimmathteam@gmail.com, which reaches a person rather than a queue.

What this is

ClaimMath publishes information about insurance claim valuation rules and prepares self-help documents from information you supply. You choose the document, you supply the facts, you review what comes out, and you send it yourself in your own name.

What this is not

It is not a law firm, a public adjuster or a licensed appraiser. Nothing here is legal advice or a substitute for it, and using this site does not create a professional relationship of any kind. We do not represent you, we do not contact your insurer on your behalf, and we do not conduct your claim.

If your claim involves injuries, a dispute about coverage rather than amount, or a deadline you are close to missing, talk to a lawyer in your state.

Your responsibilities

  • The facts you enter are yours. We take the figures you confirm at face value, and a document built on a wrong number will be wrong.
  • Read the document before you send it. Everything we produce is a draft for you to check and change.
  • Anything you send goes out over your name, and you are responsible for its contents.

No promise about outcome

We do not promise that your settlement will increase, that your insurer will respond, or that any particular argument will succeed. The estimated range the audit shows is an estimate of what the points we found are worth if they are accepted — not a prediction that they will be, and not a valuation of your vehicle.

About the state rules we publish

We take real care with these: every fact is quoted from the regulation or statute it cites, and dated. Rules change, sources are sometimes ambiguous, and we can be wrong. Where our sources did not settle a point, we say so rather than filling it in. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it with a dated entry on how we verify.

Payment and refunds

The packet is a single charge of $39, taken through Stripe. It is a one-time purchase: there is no subscription, no recurring billing, no account and no stored card. We never see your card number.

If it is not useful, ask for your money back within 7 days using the link in your delivery email — no questions, and you keep the files. Details are on the refunds page.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising out of your use of this site is limited to what you paid us. Some places do not allow that limit, in which case it does not apply to you.

Governing law

Nothing here limits any right you have under the consumer protection law of the state you live in.

The state rules published on this site are a different matter entirely: each one is governed by, and cited to, the law of the state it describes. Which law governs your claim is decided by where the claim is, not by this page.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. A change never applies backwards to a purchase already made: the terms that govern your packet are the ones that were published on the day you bought it.
